Mike Wyllie
Director and Founder
Mike Wyllie has over 25 years of experience in senior management level positions within the pharmaceutical industry with American Home Products and Pfizer. With the latter, he was Director of Biology from 1984-1998.
During this period he received a Pfizer Achievement Award for developing the world's first high throughput drug screening system. He was also fundamentally involved in the discovery and/or development, regulatory filing and marketing of doxazosin, fluconazole, sertraline and sildenafil.
Subsequently, he established Urodoc Ltd a strategic planning and medical education company servicing the pharmaceutical industry.
In 2003 he co-founded Plethora Solutions Ltd, a company specialising in IP generation, urological and andrological drug development and phase II clinical trials. The company, of which he is an executive director, was successfully listed on the London Stock Exchange in March 2005 (AIM: PLE) and has recently acquired Timm Medical from Endocare in February 2006.
He is also a non-executive director and CSO of the medical technology company, Zi Medical Plc (AIM: ZIM). Dr Wyllie is a non executive director of Taihua Plc and was part of the team that successfully competed the IPO for this company in Dec 2006.
Dr Wyllie is named inventor on over 100 'method of treatment', formulation and device patents.
